Bathroom

While you're "taking care of business" elsewhere, this is the best place to find some "bathroom" humor. Compiled below is a virtual treasure-cove of some classic internet humor. If you find other games, sounds, or videos that you think deserve a spot in the RFL bathroom, e-mail me a link.

Games and Puzzles

Hapland 1 & Hapland 2: Very entertaining "puzzles" of sorts that involves a lot of trial and error. Once you're hooked, you can't stop until you figure out the solutions! [Note: Hapland 2 was just recently released as a much-anticipated sequel!]

The Settlers of Catan (Online): This is a favorite "strategy" boardgame of mine, and now you can waste hours playing! This version allows you to play with simulated opponents (bots) or with other people. Online + Free = Incredible.

Pingu Game: This is one of those classic internet games that seems far too stupid and simple to be interesting. But it is strangely addicting. You'd be amazed at the high score... just try and get a 1224.1 (it's possible).

Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy Text Game: Decades before the movie, there was the text-game. For anyone that remembers the advent of text-based computer games, this is a revival of a classic for the book's 20th anniversary.

Reflections: This is a fairly "logical" puzzle game, with levels that increase in difficulty as you go along. It's nice that you get a password for each level, so you don't have to start all over again. Enjoy!

*Peasant's Quest: I used to play text-based RPG's all the time as a kid - Space Quest, King's Quest... you name it. Love them. This is so well done in that style, it's scary. Brought to you from Homestar Runner (another great site).

Sounds and Audio

Budlight "Stinky Breath" Radio Spot and
Budlight "Silent Gas Passer" Radio Spot
Bravo to Budlight as they attempt a new form of marketing that addresses the consumer in a real, honest way.

O Holy Night- This recording made its way into my inbox several years ago, and remains a favorite whether or not Christmas is here. When he sings, "fall on your knees..." trust me, you'll fall.

Videos and Short Movies

The Birthday (.mov)- Party RFL-style! Have you ever had a friend that has been around for a long time, through thick and thin? This is Ruined for Life's very own birthday celebration, held for just that type of friend.

*Thirteen (.wmv)- I remember this happened to me once, only people were chanting "zero." For God's sake, if you ever walk by a wall and hear people chanting "thirteen," just keep on walking, man.

*Dumbest. Dog. Ever. (.wmv)- Apparently, this dog is really stupid. I mean, how could a leg without an opposable thumb possibly "grab" anything? It's absurd! Hah hah! Ha. ha.

*German Fork Lift Training (.wmv)- A full-length training video for a German forklift operator. It's even in German. I predict that many people won't make it through this entire video, but those who do will find it increasingly hilarious to watch.

*Simply The Best (.wmv)- There are some things that make you feel guilty when you laugh at them. This video is one of them. Whoever thought this was a good idea should be hog-tied and dumped naked onto a fire-ant hill.

*Shawshank Redemption Uncut (.wmv)- Do you ever wonder how some scenes get cut from movies? This is from the uncut version of "Shawshank Redemption," one of my favorites. We'll never know why it was changed...

*Lecture Musical (.mov)- There is a whole series of these, and I think they're great. If I'd only had the guts to do it, I would have tried to pull something like this off in college or high school...

*Inventor of Ctl-Alt-Del (.wmv)- Ok, so it's a little geeky to have a video interview of the inventor of Ctl-Alt-Del on your website. But the way Bill Gates looks at this guy is priceless.

The Star Wars Kid (.wmv)- This short movie, and the Canadian boy who unwillingly stars in it, was created after the original video was posted online by the Star Wars Kid's friend, who found it in his room. Or so says his friend's step-friend-sister.

Gellieman's "Aicha" (.wmv)- I don't know how, but this is truly an internet phenomenon. Who would think that this kid who made his own music video would become so famous. (Note: our whole office knows the 'choreography' to this song.)

Faith, the Wonderdog (.wmv)- I think we could all use a little more faith in our lives. If you need a pick-me-up, or you think your life sucks, just watch what kind of lemonade this dog made out of lemons.

My Love (George Bush and Tony Blair) (.wmv)- Got this in an e-mail forward. We all knew George and Tony were a team, but this reveals their true feelings for one another.

The Cat and the Fan (.wmv)- Part of me hopes this video is fake, and part of me that hopes that you find this funny. (Note: may be disturbing to extreme cat fanatics.)

Ford SportKa Commercial (Curious Cat) (.mpeg)- Now, for those of you that didn't like the cat fan video, I can guarantee you won't like this one. Those European commercials- they get away with murder!

Orcas Love Kayaks (.mpeg)- It's the random Asian exclamations that helped this video earn a coveted spot in my top 10 list.

Ashley Simpson Booed at Superbowl (.wmv)- I'll admit it, I'm just not an Ashlee Fan. But then again, this video proves there are at least least 60,000 other people aren't either.

Tyson (The Dog) Skating (.wmv)- No lie, the first time I saw this video, I pooped my pants. Well, maybe it was just a strong urge to poop my pants, but this dog's skating skills are waaaay better than mine.

Farting Preacher 2 (.asf)- The title, of course, implies there is a "farting preacher 1." Don't know about that one, but as for this clip, I can't decide if it's hilarious or depressing. Either way, this is what TBN means when they say the Spirit is thick!

Boom Goes The Dynamite (.wmv)- We've all seen at least one college news show in our lives. The sports guy in this video definitely makes up for what the teleprompter lacks. Before you know it, you'll be saying "BOOM goes the dynamite."
