What good would a house be without a place to store all kinds of great stuff? Here you can download all types of free or shareware programs, tools, and even browse through the pictures that are sitting in album boxes.

AdAware: This is a great tool provided free at LavaSoft USA. It is probably the most-used program for removing pests you pick up while browsing the internet. Best of all, it's free!

Spybot Search and Destroy: Another great freeware tool for removing spyware from your computer, found at Spybot S&D. If you have this and AdAware on your computer, there's really no need to pay for a pop-up program or spyware cleaner.

Stability Test: This utility is a stability test for your computer, which can help determine hardware capabilities and problems. Although limited, it's free, and provides cpu tests and memory tests. If you've just built a computer, this is a must-have.

CPU-Z: This utility tells you everything you need to know about the hardware your computer is running: processor, motherboard, chipset, RAM type, clock speeds, temperatures; very useful!

DHTML Menus by Milonic: These are the menu files for creating the DHTML menus found on the menu bar of RFL. You'll want to check out Milonic, which has all the tutorials and files you'll need. Have...fun.

Smart FTP: A freeware FTP program, so you too can upload those html pages you've been slaving over! Check out SmartFTP for more information.

Adobe Acrobat Reader: Easily the standard for sharing documents across platforms on the internet. Rather than guess your operating system, I'll let you download it directly from Adobe!

Primo PDF: Don't feel like paying through the nose for Adobe Acrobat Professional, so you can create a basic .pdf document? Then use my favorite .pdf maker, PrimoPDF. Free, simple, and gets the job done in a pinch.

ID3 Tag-IT: A very handy editor for .mp3 ID3 tags - those extra bits of information that display things like artist, album, and song name. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET framework installed (available on Windows Update) before installing it.

DVD Info: This utility will tell you everything about a DVD, including who manufactured the disk. Helpful for figuring out if a generic brand is actually made by the high-quality Taiyo Yuden Corp., the best DVD manufacturer in the world.
